OK option if you need to be in this area

Convenient location for our purpose in Bangkok, easy to access, lots of transport and restaurants around.

Loud construction project next door, noise all day. Pool area seemed somewhat neglected and tired (broken stones around pool). The 'Social Bar' by the pool was basically an empty shelf. Staff seemed indifferent on our arrival (but did get a few smiles and wais during the stay).

Good value in a perfect location

I have known this hotel since 2004 and I have regularly stayed there when visiting Bangkok (maybe a dozen of stays). Its main quality is its location, very near the Lumpinee MRT underground station, as well as in walking distance from the Silom area. The hotel is already a little old but is well maintained and offers the comfort one expects from a three star establishment. The rooms are quiet, spacious and luminous (I always book a Deluxe room, situated in one of the top floors). The bed is very comfortable. Complimentary water (one bottle for every guest) is offered every day. The breakfast buffet offers a good choice of Asian and European dishes. Two recent improvements: checkout time is now 12:00 (it was 11:00 before); once breakfast time is over (10:00 am), coffee and tea are made freely available in the lobby until noon.

The toilet of the Deluxe room has a bath tub (personally I would prefer a large standing shower). The air conditioning system is centralized, so that the temperature can only be modified regulating the intensity of the blowing (not a major problem).

Good value for price of room

Clean, tidy, comfortable hotel hidden in the back streets of Bangkok. Location great. Free tea and coffee in your room always a plus. Bed was comfortable.

Shower needed a unblocking as it filled up whilst having a shower, didn't drain away as it should.

Good location. The receptionists were accommodating and polite.

The property location was very convenient. The rooms were spacious enough.

The doors were a bit of a challenge to open. When we entered the room, I saw some food wrapper in the bin - they must have forgotten to clean that up beforehand. The rooms were not as soundproof. We can hear people at the hall way every now and then. There’s also no bidet in all the rooms we’ve booked.

All ways enjoyable

Been staying there the last 25 year when in Bangkok

Good area easy for travel and safe Only thing the shower sometimes cold but the worst point the TV are not good can’t get them to work very complicated . The staff are great breakfast good at 200 baht good pool Jim and sauna . Can’t fault it for the money . Just sort out TV and hot showers

Breakfast was really good with a lot of choices. The room itself was clean.

The bedsheet and the towels were dirty when we occupied the room. They changed right away of course. But also i have to add, although they have the policy to throw the towels on the floor only if we want to get new ones and we never threw them on the floor, still got new towels what were dirty all the time. Every night we went to the front desk to complain and they changed them eventually but we played this b*llshit every single night while we were there. The did not clean the room just took the trash and gave us dirty towels every single day. I.don't know if it's some kind of a game or they just wanted to see us every night..it was pretty annoying. Bleach those towels dear hotel stuff or if it's too dirty throw away.

Reasonable rate, ideal location that suits our plan

Quite a spacious room with simple furnishing. It's bright and clean. Aircon and WiFi is working well. Not many electrical outlets, just enough to use. There's electric kettle, and a small fridge. Lobby looks big and airy. Check-in right on time as stated. Buffet breakfast is actually quite good, with a fair number of dishes, and the staff there are generally friendly. We wanted to stay near to an MRT access, so it's in a good location for us, about 5 mins' walk to Lumpini MRT exit 1. Also very close to a convenience store, and some eateries around the corner. Quite value for money, considering the size of this hotel, proximity to the main road and MRT, and comes with a rooftop pool with a good view. Though the pool is really small, but there's ample deck chairs around.

Shower curtain has massive stain at the bottom. Towel is clean though, but seems like being in use for years. Window is filthy. On one occasion we couldn't open the jammed door, need the staff to use his master key. Reception staff, well it seems to me that they are the people who runs the hotel. Their behavior is very different from other reception staff I met from other accommodations. I paid for a renovated deluxe room, but the actual room given looks like a renovated deluxe plus. Couldn't tell what's the difference between these two apart from the color of the furniture, but the price for the deluxe room is more expensive than the deluxe plus.

Good location in the city and close to MRT station and Lumpini park

I have visited this hotel several times. Breakfast is not so good as before. Poor internet, cuts all the time. Bath towels smelled dirty. Most disappointing is the woman personnel in reception. They are not willing to serve customers. They don't give any general information about the hotel when you arrive. If You ask later something they don't want to help You but give You some stupid reply to get You go away. If you for instance ask them to show something in map, they say they don't have a map. I don't understand why the worst personnel is put to sit behind the reception desk. Before there was nice personnel who liked their job.
